Thanks so much for all your help IKnowNot. I'm handy enough to do the ignition switch. That's the most important fix for me right now. The alarm can come later. You are correct that anyone can walk up and start my bike at anytime. I did watch the video and also found a couple more. Thanks. Think I'll try the switch this weekend and see what it looks like. Going to get a service manual too. I have a dealer about 10 miles from me, so hopefully I can get this solved quick.

 

Sounds suspect. Disabled security and broken ignition. If security was working properly broken ignition wouldn't matter. I agree that maybe could have been a recovery. Best to get at least one fixed asap.
