2014-2016 Switched and Nonswitched Accessory Power
Need switched and non-switched power from accessory power port under left side cover.
2015 RGS here
I have my heated seat and power for my Garmin GPS (I use the Garmin on trips and built in boom when not) connected to the 8 prong accessory port under left side cover.
Just installed the HD Cool Flow Fan and that also plugs into the 8 pin accessory plug under left side cover.
I'm not worried about overloading circuit as I will never have heated seat and Cool Flow Fan on at the same time.
The Cool Flow Fan is switched to the switchpack by the Speedo.
I just want to keep it simple so would like to find a 8 pin Y adaptor so I can have switched and non-switched power
I have contacted Namz to see if they would make one and they say not enough demand for it.
Any ideas?

Not sure why you want a non switched, cuz it would draw off your battery all the time ,even when bike is off and parked , unless your relying on the built in tstat on some heated seats to switch it on automatically as temps drop.Only problem with that is below that temp the heated seat will be drawing down your battery. I guess you could add a fuse and a rocker switch off the battery but if you forgot to turn it off your battery will drain down. Switched is off of the 91A plug. the switched is protected via the main fuse block anyway. 91 A is switched thru ignition switch so is only on when bike is on. I would get a T crimp on terminal and tee it into anywhere in the accesory wire 91A after it comes out of the plug to feed the other devises, but is a switched output. Hope it helps
