some wp modules contain the functions of the starter but yours does not so probably will have to keep it or make up a new start harness to starter relay, no biggie.

All working now - was hoping to ditch the standard module to save space, it is going to be tight in that battery box!
I might look at getting a module that combines the starter functions - Badlands? - but happy for now just to get it running.

all you need is a small relay to send power to the start relay which sends power to the starter solenoid. maybe the start switch can carry the load direct to starter relay.
would have to look at the electrical to see how your system is wired. before the advent of computers and driver circuits, the switch was it, only carries enough current to pull the relay coil and contacts in.
