Default 2000 FLHTCUI replacing speedometer

I’m replacing the speedometer since the guy I bought this from bastardized a lot of this bike and I’m redoing what I have to to get it ready for full time service again. The speedometer was replaced prior to me owning, but it’s got bent pins and the connectors are incorrect on the wiring for the speedo, so I’m looking at replacing both.

I have two speedos to try. They look almost exactly the same, but their connector comes in from along the back, 90degrees from the way this one did.
thos part numbers, are 67436-08 OR 67478-04A.

what I cannot figure out, is on these other two, which connections would be the correct pins for the red/white/black from the sensor. Or, is it that these are newer and are looking for a pair of connections from the ECM only, instead of using a hall sensor down by the transmission?

any help would be appreciated.

thanks, Brothers!

Bent pins and the connector doesn’t “click” in. It was just floating in there.

That connection that was just floating.

Not pretty, but most of it worked.

Neither one will work for you. You need a Speedo prior to 03.
