Default Handlebar wiring question

So I've currently got 16" apes with internal wiring, but as of late I've been considering switching to T-bars. Is there any way to, instead of re-running all the wiring, remove the wiring from the controls and out of the handlebars?

Yes. The handlebar wiring has connectors at the far end of the wiring on both sides. Disconnect the connectors remove the handlebars, and pull the wiring through the bars and out.

^^^Yep^^^

But...mark/remember all the connector/pin settings as you have to get it all back together properly. Digital camera works well for visual reference.
