My pushrod readjustment turned into a head port..
I did the Rockouts, drilled out the oil return holes,
and set the lifter preload to 3.5 turns (24tpi=0.145) and fired it up tonight.
Sounds strong, I'll get the boards and heat shields on tomorrow and roll it out for a good spanking.
It's not as noisy as it was but the sewing machine sound is still there and the reversion is the same.
Maybe I'll put an S&S teardrop on it if I can't live with it.
