Hello, I have a 99 FXST that I purchased from original owner. Bike has not been started in 6 years. Has spent last 8 years uncovered under a carport in TX and the prior 6 years uncovered in an open condo garage in FL. Needless to say I'm doing a complete frame off restoration. Bike has approximately 30k miles. Other than normal maintenance and cleaning I'm wondering if I should add any upgrades to the motor since it will be out of the frame. I'm thinking about adding an S&S carb and exhaust. Any opinions and advice towards maintenance or upgrades would be greatly appreciated. Budget for engine maintenance or upgrades would be around $1500. Thanks
