I have a 99 fxst (softail standard) that I'd like to swap a lower mile motor into. I'm looking at 99's but what type 99 besides an fxst will swap out without mods? For instance will a 99 fxstc, fxsts, flht, etc fit even though the cc and cui vary? I feel like a moron asking this, I'm a painter/body tech so my tech knowledge on this is very limited. Thanks.

 

Any twin cam motor from HD that has the B designation will slip right in. Doesn't have to be exclusively from '99.
