I have been wondering this and hopefully someone here knows. The letters all confuse me. Just when I think I have it figured out I get confused again.
F= big vtwin
X= skinny front end
S=? Softail?
F is big twin, X is softail, S is for standard and T is for **** cause we like them too...
X can't be for softail, because then why is every softail in the current lineup a FL except for the Blackline?
X is the skinny front end, and L is the fat front end.
So, from that link... "S - (without following T) Sports version eg FLHS is an FLHT without the touring package."
The Blackline is the "sports version"?
It doesn't matter at all. But isn't the point of discussion boards having a discussion?
This particular one is on the topic of the model designation of the motorcycle I bought. Glad you could join us.
