I can have the motor and trans out of my '02 FLHT in 6-8 hours; about the same to put it back in. I don't do this every day but have done it a couple of times, so someone that does it often can probably get it done faster. If I was budgeting my time to do this to my bike, I would allow a full weekend with perhaps another half day to sort out any issues that might arise during the operation.
