Thats kinda like asking why 2006-2007 FXDs are so cheap and if anything is wrong with them. A lot of folks consider the Softail Standard to be the perfect bike because they are so cheap and because you can customize it to fit your personality.

Nothing wrong with them. It's Harley's entry level for the softtail big twin. Aluminum engine,less chrome,etc. You can put your signature on them by customizing with your own taste. A lot of bang for your buck.
