I have had other guys say it will take it because of age of the motor, some say they are stronger than the newer one's. The main thing is that the 4"bore and4" stroke would help balance things out. Sooooo, I am on a big rock knowing what should be right but will be wrong and vice versa.
Thanks for the input

Thank you for your opion,,I was wrong on the head work. Reread the build sheet and ,,,,boy did I screw up. The motor does produce 110ft lbs. of torgue and you can get 100 hp out of a 95".Cody Angle at metro harley davidson in Cedar Rapids,Iowa has a post on youtube to prove it with a S&S carb. I really would like your veiws on how to build a reliable 100" S&S that has some *****.
Thanks,Springer

Easy to build a sturdy motor on a 100" platform, head work, cams at compression sweet spot, right exhaust and 115/120 numbers are not a challenge. I would have that '05 crank worked before heading down that road though.

95" motor
I wish I could load my dyno sheet from may that Brian Conley at valley racing came up with but we came up with max torgue of101.86 at engine rpm =3.56
max torgue=101. at engine rpm =3.39
max torgue 101.74 at engine rpm=3.44
maxpowerr=79.59 at engine rpm =5.58
max power=5.58 max torgue=5.58
max power=81.51at engine =5.
i 'm running a rinehart racing 2into1 and it has made a difference
overall the bike runs. good.

my 95 just came off the dyno last night at 100.4hp and 103.? tq,,,thanks to some help from Kirby @VeeTwin Racing.
the reason why your 05 is not a good candidate for big power is indeed because of the crank set up, by 2005 HD had changed from the timken bearing on the sprocket shaft side to the roller set up. if you open up your bottom end, have the timken re-fit installed and true, balance and weld your crank, you'll be as close to good as you can get, but if you're going to go in there and do all that, you may as well do it all with the stroker crank and get all the benefits that come with it. It wil also make it easier to get to your power goals due to the added displacement with less stress to the engine if the proper compression ratio, cam, headwork and tune are in order.
