I’m building my 16 wide glide. Build plans are 110” I just ordered 585 cams hydraulic lifters and pushrods, I’m getting the heads done port polish performance dual spring packs. I’m doing 5.3 injectors. Etc etc I’m not cutting corner so should I go bigger TB if so what size

I would ask your engine builder what they recommend as I assume they set some expectation with you as to what your getting for your money performance wise?

[/QUOTE Hpi would be my choice of throttle bodies. You can call them direct , Google horsepower Inc. They have a nice website. 58 mm probably.

I’m the engine builder so that isn’t working haha. I’m only asking cause I’ve been reading some people said 58 would make it a dog off the line and you want a smaller TB for velocity but I’d like to think if it was larger it wouldn’t matter cause the valves are gonna suck in what the need

FWIW I'm running an HPI 58mm on a 107 build with 110 heads and a T-Man .625 cam, its not hurting the bottom end at all

Getting ready to test one of their 62mm units on a 114 M8 CVO

Their TB's are really a work of art, give them a call and see what they suggest, very nice people

FYI: S&S recommends the 58mm TB for there 111" and 124".

S&S also lists the throttle hog 58mm & 66mm can handle 96" to 124". A 58 will be plenty and not overkill.
