Default Wide Glide Issues

Ok Guys,

I know this has probably been discussed in other threads but I'm tired of looking for them. I recently purchased an 11 wide that supposedly had the stage 1 download. Running short shots staggered with quite baffles and a vh air cleaner. It had a Fuelpak on it but after loading 3 different maps with no results it has been removed. The big issue is its running lean and thumping so hard it actually vibrates my garage floor. At low cruzing speeds, I'm guessing around 1800 - 2400 rpm it shakes bad. Any suggestions before I shove this bike up the dealers *******.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply max,

Checked the upper stabilizer, looks to have been replaced already and I just replaced the front mount.

Well, Good luck with the issues.. It might be worth posing the same question over in the Dyna section. You'll get more suggestions over there. I do know that some dynas like to vibrate. I have a 2000 fxdx, that vibrates a bit at certain Rs but it's a high compression, longer stroke motor that's running a heavier piston setup.

Sometimes simply throwing a spacer (1/16 or 1/8) under the front mount will help. Sometimes replacing the rear helps. Some like to change over to aftermarket front mounts.

You could also be right about the tune still being off. In my case, I'm carbed and have an adjustable ignition.
