Default Engine rebuild

I’m sitting next to 100 thousand on my 2010 limited with 103. Is there a way to see if I should rebuild or run another year. I travel a lot and getting the bike home would be wasted money so I try to prevent break downs and do maintenance at home. Thought about long block replacement or send engine to have freshened up.
Also what would be the best way to freshen or rebuild. I want longevity more than power but power is fun

The thing is that the motor more than likely won't leave you stranded unless it blows up, busted rod, worn out chain tensioner resulting in a broken cam chain, possibly a blown lifter or cam bearing. As long as motor is quiet, has reasonable compression and don't burn oil, run it.

A compression test and a leakdown test will give you an idea of your motors health. Then just like the Dr has you do blood work you can send in an oil sample for analysis...blackstone labs, I think it was around 26 bucks or so. Otherwise, like max said if it's running good just run it.

Just hit 100k on my limited. Replaced lifters, tensioners, cams and bearings at 60k during an upgrade, had the primary open and inspected at 90K and everything was still perfect. Compression check at 100K shows no issues. Only items other than tires, brakes and maintenance were front and rear wheel bearings at 80K and ignition switch at 70K. I'm thinking I've got at least another 50K or more left before I need a rebuild.
