Default Twin Cam Pushrods

OK guys I have a question. I have to remove one head on my 03 twin cam. I rolled the motor to top dead center before removing the head. Both push rods spun freely. I removed everything individually. Now nothing has changed, motor has not moved, other than the head and other gaskets. So now when I put the top end back together why do I need to readjust the push rods. As long as I don't torque the rocker assembly down all at once. Just snug it and let the lifters bleed out oil. Then when It kisses the surface torque the assembly. What are you thoughts?

Unless you surfaced the heads, or changed the head gasket thickness from original, there's no need to adjust- your procedure is sound.

That is my thought. No machining, same part number head gasket. But even if the thickness changed a tiny bit, that's what the hydraulic lifter is for, It gives you that little bit of play.
Thank you for your thoughts
