iron head 1982 engine problem
hello i had iron head 1982 i have a problem. when my bike startup after 5 minutes white smoke come out from both exhaust. i already do the top overhaul change the valve seal, change piston ring polish block. and still after 5 minutes smoke come out. can help me out. tq

you did a top end and now it smokes?
a lot of people just throw rings at an engine but does not solve their issue. that fit is a precision fit. did you check taper, did you cross-hatch the bore (must be done properly or the rings will not seat or worst yet fail if the hatch is tooooo rough), piston fit to bore.
black is fuel, blue is oil and white is usually incomplete combustion. how many hours run time? if the rings are chrome, it will take awhile. i have seen some not seal. there was an ole trick using bon-ami cleanser BUT you must use the right one and know what you are doing. you might have to back in. without proper tools and such, shade tree usually fails.
