Default Oil pump/cam plate.

This is for anyone who has upgraded their oil pump/cam plate on '21 or newer M8. (this includes Screamin Eagle, S&S, Fueling, etc pumps/plates)
Have you noticed any difference? If so, what?

I upgraded to a S&S cam plate and oil pump on both my 22 street bob and 23 road king special. There is no apparent difference from stock. I made the change because I did a stage 2 on the street bob and 128 on the road king and wanted peace of mind. Cost was not a factor

You will not "notice" a thing, other than the money missing from your account.

The '21 OE pump is solid. Are you doing significant engine mods?

I went with the S&S for a recent refresh, but did run the same OE pump you have on my FM128 for 20K miles without a single issue.

Give us some more info on what your plans are, and remember that you need to measure the crankshaft runout to be sure that it is acceptable for use with any of the plates you listed.

Another reason I asked about this...one aftermarket company sent me email, saying their cam plate/oil pump will "definitely" reduce some engine noise and definitely reduce oil temps.

That should have raised the BS Flag...

Please share; we would all like to know this aftermarket company. We would all be interested in any cam plate/pump combo that will "definitely" reduce engine noise as well as oil temps. Maybe this company is new to the market? I thought I knew them all but don't recall one making that statement.
