Default Tappets ????
Hey...pulled my shovelhead lifterbolocks out and these lifters were in there. I'm not familiar with them

Anyone give me a heads up?

Do you have an Evo conversion kit in there?
Aluminum lifter blocks?

Not aluminum , just checked with a magnet
They're aftermarket blocks

That looks like a Shovelhead tappet block but I don't know who's lifters they are.

I'm stuck on how to set up my pushrods
My rods are all the same length

These tappets have a longer cylinder body than the OEM ones

They may be Velvatouch lifters. I can't tell for sure because it's been many years since I've had a set in my hands, but check it out.

Can u buy just the pushrods?
Maybe you can get Smith Brothers to make a set for you. It will help if you know the proper dimensions of the pushrods that you need. Just a footnote, Velvatouch lifters are good quality, and were quite expensive back in the day.

It appears that you may be able to buy the right pushrods directly from Velvatouch.

Oh they're super expensive lol.
I also wonder in future if I could run OEM or other lifters in those blocks.
