Default Reusing stock pushrod tubes with adjustable pushrods?CVO with scortched chrome color tubes

I was going to have a cam installed at the dealer with adjustable pushrods and was wondering if there is any way to use stock pushrod tubes? Reason i ask is i have a 2020 CVO road glide and the stock tubes are the scortched chrome color. Its no big deal i can use black but didn't know if you could save the tubes or get replacements in the factory color.

I'd say the answer is going to depend upon what brand of pushrods you're using. Fuelmoto's are made to be used with stock covers. There may be others too and some like the screaming eagle come with new covers...probably for a good reason.

They cut the existing push rod tubes when doing a cam so you won't be able to reuse them. Adjustable push rods make doing the cam install a lot easier.

Thanks I knew they cut them I didn’t know it the dealer could order new oem ones to replace the cut ones or the adjustable tubes are a whole different design. I like the color but it’s a pain to find exhaust and everything else in.

I'm confused. Why would they need to cut the pushrod tubes? After they raise the lower tube up to access and cut the pushrods with bolt cutters and remove them, they just take the pushrod tubes off the bike. And I concur with what Screamin beagle said, you may be able to reuse the UNCUT pushrod tubes depending on what new adjustable pushrods you use. Talk with the service mgr. at your dealer.

if you want to keep them, then just pull the tank and rocker covers.

The other post is incorrect - they do not cut the pushrod tubes - only the pushrods when not removing rocker components

Or, talk to a powder coating company to see if they can color match ( close enough) a set of tubes for you.

I agree. I used Fuel Moto adjustable pushrods and retained my pushrod tubes for the same reason.
