Okay, I'm confused... not that that's anything new...
According to Ronnie's partsfinder, the cam for my bike, a
2023 FLHXST STREET GLIDE ST is part # 25400273
Which is different than the
2023 FLHXSE CVO STREET GLIDE - that cam part # is 25400445
One post suggested it's the same as the
2017 FLHXSE CVO STREET GLIDE, but it isn't, that part # is 25400190
With a little more digging though, it turns out it is the same as the
2018 FLHXSE CVO STREET GLIDE - part # is 25400273
Is there anything special about the 2018 CVO cam?
Can anyone tell me which cam it's closest to (or the same as) mine? Is it a Torque or a power cam?
I don't suppose the characteristics of the different Harley cams are listed anywhere, are they?
Trying to decide what to expect if I go to an aftermarket cam-stage 2 setup.
The 273 is the pre-helix models CVO cam- makes decent low and mid, very close performance wise to the SE torque cam. That cam comes stock in the 117 classic and custom Softails, as well as the 117 touring models. The SE drop in cam for your bike is the 462- little less low end than you have now, picks up the mid & top end about 12%.
