Default Evo engine mounts?

Hi, so question here about engine mounts. Ive got a Rolling Thunder custom FXR frame set up for Evo engine mounts. I was planning on using a stock Harley Evo crate motor, but I noticed the only evo engine from Harley states that it fits 1999 softails only. Whats the deal with that, I thought evo mounts were evo mounts? Anybody have any insite into this? thanks

They will fit all carbed evo frames.

evo soft tails are not rubber mounted...the rubber mounted evo FLH and FXR use different motor mounts as well as a different transmission. I believe it is the transmission interface on the cases that is different between the two.
