ok so im goign to be upgradign my '01 88" TC with the HD hydraulic cam chain tensioner upgrade kit this winter, will my original cams work fien with the the cam plate or am i going to need a differnt set of cams to go with the hydrualic cam plate? yes yes i know eveyrones going gear drive and i should too because its the coolest thing sicne buttered poonanee, but i doubt my crank runout is within spec and i really dotn want to split the cases this year so the upgrade from spring tensioners to hydro tensioners is this years route.

Yes you can use the same cams but would suggest you change the cam bearings to Timkin. We have replaced 2 sets of cases this year due to stock Harlet bearings not being changed out. $12.00 part that ran into alot more money.
