oil circulating problem

Default oil circulating problem
Looking for some help, the oil light on my sportster is on and bike wont start, my first thought was low oil, oil tank is full to the point of overflowing. It seems like oil is filling up in the tank, but not going out to the motor, any thoughts on what might be the problem? Thanks.
