Engine pinging

I have a 09 Electra Glide Classic. 103 big bore, 259 cam, screaming eagle heads, V&H full system, Screaming eagle race tuner, oil cooler, and stage one air filter. My question is that I get pinging noise when I crack the throttle. Is that mean I need more fuel?

Too little fuel can cause pinging. It is likely that both the timing needs to be retarded AND fuel adjusted.

Is this a new development, or has it always pinged in the same conditions?

it never pinged until I put the big bore kit cams and heads on. I took it to the Harley dealer yesterday and they adjusted the timing and added some fuel and its running good now.
