Worn belt / pulleys probably. Since I didn't have the cash way back when, a little dab of anti seize on the outer edge of the belt every couple of thousand miles got me another 2 years and 30,000 miles out of it without that irritating squeak..
I've tried anti seiz,wd40,belt dressing,Napa lube,it goes away but back in100 miles. Both pulleys are new along with the belt.tried too tight and too loose it only squeels when on throttle.Worst in cold temps.Belt is running true as far as alighnment goes.

Is that all you have tried or have you tried anything else?
It would have been nice if you had mentioned all that you had already tried in your first post.
That way we wouldn't have told you to do the things you have already done.
I have to agree with you that it is a belt problem since it goes away (however temporary) when you put something on the belt but I had almost the same problem with a transmission main bearing when it was starting to go out.
Just for fun have you checked your wheel bearings?
Thanks, wheel barrings are fine, noise seems to come from the lobes on belt rather than the sides.Could it be because its a gates brand? I thought theg were good.
