Default gates...

They are very good belts. Which one are you using.I have the poly chain 1" and no noise at all.. it sounds more like the fit of the belt the to splines of the pulley's. Which pulley did you replace and who made them...? How many mile s on the originals..?

I had a squeeking belt on a 91 Heritage. I fooled with it and fooled with it. It stopped when I pulled the aftermarket pulley and installed a stock pulley.

Bike was not road worthy when purchased, put on light aluminum front pulley and oem rear and new belt after about a year I put on oem front thinking that was the problem. Squeak came back eventually, only goes away if I lube the lobes not the edge of belt. It's like lobes are a hair too big.

Could you use some paraffin wax (I think it's paraffin) like a block of it and rub it on the belt teeth? The stuff you can wax skis or sleds with. I've used it on drive belts, it isn't slick like grease but would allow a little give and slip and should quiet it and might help it seat better and wear in.

Default Theres your problem.

Initial repair, the Aluminum (Trans) front pulley. you already laced the belt with the softer aluminum material. I don't think your gonna get rid of it now. Aluminum is porous and will fill the belt. I cant see the advantage of an Aluminum pulley. That little bit of weight might make a little difference on a drag bike for a couple of passes but not on a street bike. Then Again on a drag bike i'd be using a chain drive....
