Default Ignition ?

Crane Hi-4 ignition took a ****.
94 springer softail.
Stock EVO (no head work) Crane ev 23 cams, s.s carb..
Crane HI-4 is discontinued.
Looking for advice on a decent, reasonable priced ignition.
Normal riding (if there is such a thing)
Thanks.

Ultima 53-644 on fleabay for $109.00 delivered from Jireh. I checked into them recently and lots of good reviews. It is a re-labelled Dynatek. Mine is due to arrive any day now.

Here is the post:

When people who work on these bikes day in and day out say it is a good unit, I listen....YD

I used the Ultima when I switched to carb, but on the advise of those who went that way before me I replaced the Ultima coil with an S&S unit.

Blue Streak points conversion. Around $150 and well worth the price. I converted my EVO to points in 1995 and have no regretted it once.
