Supension-Steering Problem
A few weeks ago I went across some railroad tracks that were real rough, it bounced the bike around quite a bit. Since then the low speed steering has gotten bad. At low speeds when you try to make a slight turn, either way, the front wheel/forks, try to go all the way to the stop, you have to fight it. I rode it last night and it has gotten worse, will put it on the rack tomorrow and start checking it out.
What do you guys think, steering head bearings, broke motor mount, or low tire pressure?
Thanks in advance

Are the fork legs completely parallel to each other.
I experienced what you describe long ago after a minor crash that left my forks somewhat twisted. I loosened the clamps, straightened them, retightened and was good to go.

I am going to at least check the steering head bearings, and will check the legs for straightness. The weather will not be good for riding for a few weeks anyway.
Check it out and you tell us. Never had a Harley over-steer unless something was broke. Surely you know if it's tire pressure. If you don't, you need a new hobby before you get hurt. If the tire was almost flat, I am sure that is exactly what it would do.

Your right, I did check the front tire, it was fine, the rear I looked at and felt of, have to take the saddle bag off to get the gauge on it, will do that to night.
Sit on bike and push a foot or two and lock front brake and see if suspension feels different or if something seems to twist at all, look straight down at it,because something is f@#&ed up.
Also, Jack up front wheel off ground and turn front end with the wheel , lock to lock and see how it feels, smooth, ruff ect.apply pressure at full lock, should not twist much at all.
Hope this helps somewhat.
