It occurs to me that I was rather rude by posting my problem with my bike without first saying hi.
HI!
I bought a 1998 FLSTC this spring and have been enjoying it a lot. I just started riding this last fall so I will admit to not knowing a lot about bikes but my lurking here helped me make my decision on what bike to purchase.
I live in Central Wisconsin, am a non-traditional student (yup I returned to school 4 years ago) and will be graduating around christmas.
Anyway, thank you for all the great information that I have found here while I was lurking and I look forward to getting to know my fellow EVO owners.

Hey there and Welcome fellow Wisconsinite! The wife and I spend a few nights in Wausau last year around the time of the Blues Fest. Wasn't too impressed with the fest, but we had a great time browsing around Wausau anyways. You're in the right place for any assistance you may need. Lots of very informative and knowledgeable folks in here.
OH and funny thing is for me, I actually pulled money out of my 401K to possibly go back to school, since I couldn't get any assistance anywhere else. Know what I did instead? Bought a motorcycle and said I don't want to work any harder, I want to enjoy life more. I already have a good job 5 minutes from home. So here I am, now have 2 motorcycles and a lot more fun with life! Good on ya though! You got my respect for sticking with it. Just getting to the point of getting back into school is hard enough. Congrats!
