Motorcycle oil has a different amount of zddp (zinc) it is used to help lubricate your rings and bearings. MC and Diesel Oil carry the same amount approx 1200 ppm and conventional oil only has 800 ppm. its all about emissions, however the higher the ppm the better the protection. air cooled motors do benefit from it.... One other thing , if you want to help clean up the inside of your motor you can always use 20% mixture solution of marvel mystery oil.

No chit. Is there chart around saying how much is in what kind?
Google the brand and zddp in the same line and you'll get a hit. The msds will give you the % not the ppm. There's oil with 4000ppm that would not protect your engine. Best to just pick a brand recommended and stick with it. Additives to increase the zinc will also cause harmful changes to the oil. Pick a recommended brand and stick with it is my thought.

Thanks , yes I see now google offers a wack of info and I did come across where additives will cause harmful changes to the oil.
Changed the oil with a quality brand of motorcycle oil and a quart of Lucas oil additive and my pressures are doubled. 10-12 at idle and 25-30 at highway rpm. Plus the blow by and smoke stopped as well.
And Valvoline ZR1conventional has 1300 ppm of Zinc and 1200 ppm of Phosphorus.
And Mobil 1 Automotive 15W-50 has 1200 ppm too at $28 for 5 qts.
My '98 Ultra ran 65,000 miles on Amsoil synthetic and had just started to weep (wet spot basically,) at the base of the rear jug when I sold it after 4 years.
(And my TwinCam with more than twice that mileage shows no evidence of weeping at all (Mobil 15w-50 & VTwin 20W-50.)
