OK! It appears that my trip odometer is not working the way it should. I recalculated my gas mileage and its looking like about 38mpg.

I have a question for you S&s guys. When the bike is warm, it still needs the choke to start, but then the choke can come off right away. My CV doesn't need choked or added fuel when warm. With the Super E, when the bike is warm do you use the choke, or twist the throttle for a squirt of gas?

Chas.... I never use the enricher. Cold or warm it's always 2 shots on the throttle and bang, starts right up. Sometimes on real hot days for a hot restart only one shot. It's too easy to flood a high compression motor when using the enricher..

I only use the enricher when it is really cold. If it has been sitting for a few hours, I've never needed it in normal weather. Just first thing in the morning. Now, if it's 18F or something, that's different, but I don't ride much in that kind of weather anymore.

You sure you don't need a tad richer on the bottom or back out the mixture screw an eighth or so? But if it's running good and you just need to start it like that, WTF. Leave it alone.

Chaz what are you using for an ignition module??
I did notice that after I put in a Dyna 2000p start up was much easier.

I'm using the Ultima 53-644 nose cone ignition. Now that I have changed to curve two, It is really running great!
