Default Trailer

Does anyone have experience or a picture of two dressers on a 5x9 trailer?

I'm in need of a utility trailer and have decided that a 5x9 would be the best overall choice. Just wonder if I can put both my 93 FLHS and my son's 99 FLHT on it at the same time.

I put 2 softails (with bags) on a 5'x8' trailer once and it was a tight fit.
I would suggest you get a wider trailer for dressers.

Yep, five feet is not enough. Two bikes rubbing against each other can get ugly.

I agree that five feet is NOT enough, go a little bigger.

If you look at companies that sell motorcycle trailers, you will notice that trailers rated for two street bikes are always 80" or wider. 60" would be good for two dirt bikes.

Get a longer trailer. I have a 6' X 13' Vector Cargo Craft trailer. My Heritage fits in it with plenty of room to spare and to put other stuff in it with the bike, but not really enough room for two bikes. I could fit two dirt bikes in it, but not two touring bikes. Remember, you have to be able to back them out without falling off the ramp or if you need to put your foot down while in the ramp, and your foot goes to the ground instead.

Here is a picture of my set up. I think a longer two axle trailer would be better for two touring bikes.

My dad has his bike and trailer for sale. Here is what his road King looks like in it. His trailer is square in front instead of pointed like mine, but otherwise is the same size.

The other reason to have a wider trailer is straps, once you get one strapped in you will not have room to move around to strap the second. If you only want 5ft then go longer so you can stagger the bikes on there.
