I have used a Pingel chock for years. Easily removeable. I have no experience with the new cradle type chocks.

Thanks. Really don't need anything that locks the wheel in, straps and the rear gate should suffice for keeping it inside the trailer.

Unless I roll it....

One of those roll in locking wheel chocks is great for holding the bike upright until you can get straps on it.

I have 2 of these on my trailer Hard to beat and all that is left on the trailer when removed is 2 flat plates. You can lock the bike in and use 2 straps (one on each side) and go. There are times I use more straps just in case.

I saw those. Good to know that they work from your experience. Seem a bit pricey, but a bike falling over can get pricey...

I am hauling my Limited and a SG in a 6 x 12 enclosed to Sturgis and it's tight. I had to space it so the SG handlebars are over my seat. I already hauled them to Georgia and they were tight but OK. We both installed the H-D tie down brackets which make strapping them down a breeze...highly recommend! I wish I would of bought the 6.5 or 7 wide though.

They work well and do the job very well
I can load and unload 2 dressers in a matter of minutes.
My trailer is used several times a year to get stranded bikes not to mention other things our kids use it for.
