1996 EVO Engine Tempreture
My 1996 Touring EVO has the 1997 Screaming Eagle ECM. I just installed the Power Commander V and the auto tune. It had and option for using the ECM for engine temp, so I checked it, but it doesn't give me any engine temp.
The thing is, I don't know if the ECM sees the engine temp. Do any of you know. I replaced the engine temp sensor in the head last year.
Misspelled temperature. I'm to use to spell check......

There is a temperature minimum and a time delay for the autotune to start self tuning, I had both checked, and you can only use one, and they said to use the time delay, 60 seconds and not to use the temp delay on that old a bike.
Not a direct answer but information, at start up the M&M ECM locks from the ETS reading being cold and has a base warm up setting, the Autotune can't make adjustments and the ETS seems to be more of a warm up sensor, not like a automotive temp sensor
Sometime listen to the engine at warm up and you will hear a tone change when the ECM is released to the map changing fuel settings and timing, the Autotune will also allowed to make adjustments. Did alot of monitoring and watched AFR and timing change when released with a PC3 and Wego on the M&M
