Another cool bike at the local watering hole today, not sure the year but front fender said "DUO GLIDE" . Don't see these too often. Wanted to share a pic.

One of the earlier hydra glide front ends with rear suspension? Good looking Panhead regardless.
Edit: still has sidecar loops? Johnjzjz?

the engine is a 1963 to 1965 - look at the center of the block you will see an oil line for the heads instead of the oil feeding up through the barrels like all the other pans

it is a swing arm frame 1958 to, ???? 1976 but that bike has 13 1/2 inch rear shocks / correct rear brake assembly 63 / 65 - crash bar is the correct diameter so are the alloy headlamp covers ( the red and green bulb covers dead give away )

correct location 63 - 64 tool box - correct handlebars for same year and it has the stock linkert carb and its air filter -- its a survivor very nice 20 maybe 25 at auction - more if he had not painted it

I have 'Electra Glide' '60s emblems on my 'new' '08 front fender, it's easy enough to do! I think all the bikes from that era had sidecar fittings, also the Duo Glide was indeed a Hydra with rear suspension, hence 'duo', suspension at both ends. The Electra Glide is the same bike with later electric start!

That frame is definitely pre-1965...'58 to '64...has the drop link at the top shock mount...

Yeah, a lot of changes to accommodate the electric leg you wouldn't have thought of. They had to raise the frame ahead of the shocks to fit the bigger battery and the offset oil tank in '65.
