Who has bought or ordered some that hold up well on the shifter linkage
Got some from local Ace and they have given it up way to soon.

Have found a couple of (real old) threads but wanted recent recommendations if ya got time Thanks

I bought a new custom Harley s/s shifter link with integral swivels, which has been going for umpteen years. There is a wide selection available.

WP, how long did the ones you bought from ACE last? I just fixed my linkage with the ACE heim joints not too long ago as they were the only place I found locally that carried that size. Thanks.

Bought mine from eBay for about $10 delivered and installed them on the stock shift rod. I don't care for the "heavy" thick shift rods. Mine went on 20k miles ago and still tight and working well. They do make for a smoother and more durable shift.

These might be worth checking out. They are blowing them out pretty cheap.

After cking local what I could and reading a bit more I just ordered some. Wanted to get it finished to ride this weekend to a family reunion. The ones I got lasted maybe 5k BS

Well the weather doesn't look all that good and my right knee has gone stupid.

Ordered these supposed to be the best We'll see

Ace was all I could find myself a few months ago. Well 9-10 months anyway.

I have a good rod just want some ends that will hold up, I'm not hard on the bike by any means.

I will The junk ones were Ok to begin with just got way loose and floppy to soon.

These were recommended a number of times after digging around on the Touring forum for to long a time.
