So I was thinking on replacing my throttle cables to shorter ones. Question is, what style are the ones in this pic from my mikuni HSR42 carb? I read mikuni after May of 1999 use original cables.
I don't know the manufacturer date of my mikuni...
The Drag Specialties book might tell you.
I'll check mine later and see.
Thanks, I did some digging of course and came across different lengths but none actually said which was stock or Oem.
I bought 1985 fxsts Barnett cables, they look too short but won't know until motor is back in bike.
I should have waited and took a measurement but I'm getting anxious and losing my mind.
