Default Relocating the coil

Hello all. So I've seen a few pics of relocating the coil to where the horn is. I really like the cleaned up look. Is there a kit or bracket that you need to do this or is it kind of a make it yourself type of thing? After some searching I can't seem to come up with much. It a 98 fsxts btw. Thanks

I've seen enough of them like that. There has to be a kit for it. Try the usual suspects like J&P, etc.

Site sponsor d&k customs. Careful, your seat post is integral to the frame not like the 2000+ models.
Post some after pix, I've always wanted to do this!

Was gonna move the horn to the down tube of the frame behind the front tire.

If your wallet allows it you can maybe switch over to single fire ignition/coils, they look sweet !!!!

Default I used the DK Customs coil relocation kit and moved my horn under my seat.

A horn came loose that was mounted to my down tube.Just about the time I got to a dip in the road.

Don't have a pic but the fender got ugly real quick.

I guess some people like stock Harleys... I guess the reflectors are a Harley trademark too. But, in my opinion, owning a Harley is all about modifying it and making it your own. Nothing is off limits... as long as it has a high torque loud growling motor and 2 wheels... it's a Harley.
