'zacly right.

That truck was going to need brakes sooner or later anyway. You got lucky it was sooner!

Reminds me...the rear drums on my Silverado are shot. Replaced the fronts a while back. Time to dig in.

Hey blu,

Just checking in after a long while and saw this... Sorry to hear about the bike but I understand, I used to be a stick and rudder man but had to sadly hang up the headset so I know how you feel. Stick around and chat...

Blu,

It is important the bikes we love go to somebody we respect. Sounds like you got that. Sold a 74' I had for 35 years not long ago. It was tough but the kid was going to put more into it than I was willing to do so it felt right.

I am in my sixties and don't ride as much anymore. Replacement hip and various heart parts make it a bit difficult but I still go for it. I have to. It is in my blood. My wife has given up and just says "you are going to die on that @#$# thing. She may be right.

If I had to ride a scooter....................I would get a blue one too. Good luck.

Thanks all! Got the truck back from the shop, they said I did good on the purchase. Went and got the $240 check from the dealer, had a talk with the owner, hell of a nice guy. We shook hands and parted ways. Drove it around all day. This damn thing shifts all by itself! Amazing technology
