I am not 100% sure if oil pumps are the same from non Dyna or if just the cover can be changed, any way the inlet is from the bottom of the pan to the center of the pump cover, inside top line to vent line and outside is return line from filter. The 90* inlet can be seen in center of pump

Turn the wheel?, damn, ya'll like to do things the hard way.

Remove oil pressure sending unit and spark plugs, spin with the starter, if you don't get oil in 15 seconds, remove vent line from engine and put 4psi regulated air in tank, pinch the return line if ya have to, spin engine

(you can also leave the sender in and hook an ohm meter with jumpers, less mess)

Harbor freight, 10 bucks, couple air line quick connects, and don't hurt to get a gauge that reads lower

also use to push brake fluid, put air into cylinders, etc

While I was finishing the install, I put 2 litres of oil into the pan and let it sit for a day, then 1/2 litre more. Plugs out and grounded, a bit of light oil down the cylinders, and just used the starter to kick over the engine. Oil pressure light went off in under 10 revolutions. Plugs back in, fuel on, and she fired right up! Everything seems to be good, no leaks (yet). Thanks again for your help and ideas.
