Picked up this very clean 98 FXDWG at a very good deal. 6500 original miles, S&S E, Python pipes, some chrome, not one scratch on the paint. Typical pitting on the fork lowers, but minimal. No cyl base gasket leaks or any leaks that I could see. I'm just going to upgrade to the S&S single fire and replace the inner cam bearings.
Has the speedometer been changed? That's insanely low mileage.
Check the rubber engine mounts for signs of dry rot since it hasn't been ridden much in the last 19 years. Flush the brake fluid thoroughly as that is something often forgotten about.

Original speedo. The previous owner got it from a family member that hardly rode and the bike reflects this. All work was performed at the local dealer. The only rubber related issue I can find are the handle bar bushings. A full brake flush is on my list as well as the fork oil, etc.
