Default Score!!!!

Since the day I got my FLHS I've been trying to find a Batwing fairing for it. Found a few on eBay and at the swaps but never with the correct brackets for the "bread box" speedo cluster. I did see one at a swap. The guy wanted $500 for it (and it sold). To rich for my blood! So I found this one on Craigslist about 20 minutes from me. $100 bucks with the correct FLHS brackets! I'm pretty stoked. It's gonna need to repainted it obviously, but no need to fab or find the correct brackets.
Patience pays off. Todd

I can't tell from the pic, but if it needs anything structural, get some glass mat and resin and do it from the inside.

I got a set of factory 18" wheels for my LX470 off a '08 Tundra for $50, with lugnuts. They had 50 miles on them. I think he drove the truck from the dealer to a wheel place and put new wheels on it. Must have got tired of looking at them after 9 years and put them on CL. Yeah, I drove 100 miles to get those.

Good score. I too am a believer in patience. When looking for the obsolete or the obscure one must have the patience of an oyster.

Well you tell me. Was it a fine find or just a grab and run?
CL and eBay are full of stuff you didn't know you needed.
