Default Battery difference?

Curious if anyone knows what the difference between these two batteries is?

65991-82B and 65989-90b?

Don't know. But, FWIW, I switched from the HD batteries to a Big Crank from battery mart. Good alternative.

Thanks - looking at the Big Crank batteries for the same year ranges (ETX-16 and ETX-16L), I think I figured it out - the terminals are on opposite sides. Otherwise, they seem exactly the same.

I've had a lot of MoCo batteries over the years, also a few Delco's thrown in. I'm really happy with the Big Crank.

If you buy a current replacement AGM type battery you can enjoy a significant boost on those CCA figures. They are still black and heavy, but battery technology has moved on a lot in recent years.

This is it. The early Softails used a battery with the hot terminal on the opposite side.

Yep, Big Crank starting it's 4th season turning a large cube engine but going to replace it for peace of mind. Won't never give Harley $170 although they have good batteries except #2 behind a battery $105 delivered that is better

Yep - y'all convinced me. Big Crank ordered for my FXST. If it works out, I'll probably be buying one for my street glide as well.
