just curious.... did you get any interference whine after you put the amp in?

 

No, none at all. Works great. I did only use quality stuff. The Alpine amp is top shelf, and the marine head unit I have now is OK. I had an Alpine head unit in it before that I bought for another car in the early 80's. I put it on the bike about 1990. No problems with that one either.

 

Any chance you're trailing about that 3500 genius? Looks like a winner if that id's the model?

Yeah, that's the one I have. Works pretty well, but like I said, if you are going to "repair" a battery, disconnect one lead from the vehicle's system. It won't fix all bad batteries, but I have brought some back, and loaned it out to others who were successful as well. It might take a few days.

 

Thank you! I am in need of a charger, maintained combo unit. I have a three year old battery that I'm not giving up on. Yet! Haha
