Rear brake problem
I thought it was a master cylinder problem , but overhaul didn't help, so I overhauled GMA caliper and replaced rear rotor and after this installed another GMA used caliper and overhauled master cylinder again. The problem remains.
Today I installed original Harley caliper and the problem is the same- The brakes are not released..Master Cylinder builds pressure but caliper does not release the wheel after I stop pressing pedal.
Today I tried to use Master Cylinder from old Shovel and it did release the pressure ,so I decided that the problem is in Master Cylinder.
Is such a very difficult to find Master Cylinder 41755-83 for my motorcycle .I saw there Master Cylinder from an older Harley model has exactly the same shape and on aftermarket one they say it fits FLT 1982-early 1987, FX 1982-1985, FXR 1982-early 1987, FXST 1984-early 1987, FXWG 1983-1984, chrome-plated, piston Ř: 5/8 (15,8 mm), required brake fluid: DOT 5, replaces OEM 41755-83, 42470-82B, and 42446-82A
I found such at jpcycles website , but there it says it's not fits my bike and need your advice.

So need your advice
Am I right about my problem?
If I am right - does it fits my bike?
Thanks
You may need to bleed the brake system.

Brakes are not difficult, thoroughly clean or rebuild, and exercise pistons, check seals, bleed properly. and test. If it doesn't work repeat. If there is any indication of corrosion or contamination replace the parts in question.
