Default Plug Wires

Iv been using Screaming Eagle plug wires forever. So I Installed new screaming eagle wires yesterday. Went for a 100 mile run and ran fine. When I got back home I checked my plugs and one was blk and the other perfect gray.
So I cleaned the plugs up and installed my old wires and went for a 20 mile run, got back and both plugs a perfect gray.
First time I ever had new wires foul a plug.

Read "how to do a plug check" as you are chasing your tail without variable AFR numbers.
In fact, I highly recommend installing one such as a wideband AEM unit.

Measure ohms resistance of old and new and see if there is a significant difference. YD

Yes there was a difference in the bad wire. The dealership let me return them.

Careful what type of wires you use.. I believe in older bikes our ignition requires carbon core suppression wires... When ohming wires, readings should fall within 250-600 ohms per inch...

I have Dyna tech ignition. Think I'm good there.

I use Dynatek as well and you still need the carbon core suppression wires... Has to do with rfi....
