Good day, gents.
Going to look at this bike , tomorrow & would like you guys opinion on the value.
I know its worth as much as a seller can get & a buyer will pay.
1996 FXSTSB with a little over 42,000 miles. One owner & seller says paint is a 8.
Ive always wanted a standard of one of these but see potential with this one .
Less chrome means less polishing.
Not Willing to pay extra because of what it is.
And Ill prolly need to sell my Lowrider to fund build up for this one.
Dont know if I want to do that, but thats something Ill have to decide.
My wife owns an 08 X bones. She loved the color. I always wanted a springer in the family.
As long as the fork is properly lined up. The ride and feel can’t be beat by a common stock OEM telescopic front end.
If the motor sings a happy tune. And it rides straight? And by that I mean hands free roll . She’s a keeper in my book.
Love that year <3
Well, gassed up the Lowrider & cruised up to look at this FXSTSB & was really disappointed.
Bike was more a 4-5 instead of a 8 on looks. Way too much money & labor to get it back to its former glory.
So , I just enjoyed the day in the wind with my ole girl.
But Ill keep looking.....
Thanks, brother.
It would be tough to let her go.
Not so much the money but blood, sweat & tears Ive put into her.
We shall see what the future brings.
There have been bikes that even tho they always did what you demanded of them. I never really bonded with. And then, there are those you expect to never let go.
If only I was a millionaire.
I’d be just like Jay Leno
