Default 1998 fatboy 95th anniversary forward controls help

Hi I’ve owned my new to me 95th anniversary for about 4 months now. I’ve been doing a few mods on it. I would like to put some forward controls on it and get rid of the floorboards. I’ve found a pair on eBay for around 200$ with is pretty cheap compared to most sites are 350-800$. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would someone on this website be up for trading their forward controls, how would I go about finding that? Thanks for your help.

Pretty simple bolt on...save your floorboards as el-cheapo forward controls will lower the value if you ever sale...

do you think the stock kick stand will work fine with the forward controls? Anything else I need to look out for? Thanks

A- Foot Boards, floor boards are on model T's

B- Aftermarket can be junk. I would assume a stock set from a Softail Custom of the same vintage would bolt right up and would be of the best quality available. it will also look more stock, that is what I would be on the Bay looking for. OEM for the win, good luck.

I know everyone is telling you to hang onto your floorboards but just in case you don't want to I'm looking for a set for my '94 FXSTC.

foot boards are more comfortable than pegs, you'll find that out after awhile.

When I picked up my 96 FX springer, it had boards, found a set of forwards on eBay, had to change Master cylinder for brakes to line up.
