I'm looking for frame specs on 98 Fatboy. Specifically the Rake and Trail as it comes from the Moco. I can't seem to find it anywhere If anybody has a link that can direct me I would appreciate it. I'm looking to put a wide glide front end on my bike and I want to see what it does to the Rake and Trail and what are the optimal settings when making these changes.. A good friend of mine has an FXSTC front end 32-in overall It's two over compared to a Fatboy and I want to put them on But I'd like to know what the OEM settings are first.. Thanks..
Edit: I've been searching for a few days now on the internet and the manual but I can't seem to find anything on it.... Thanks

I doubt the MoCo has a 5/8th trail on anything... that is a Dangerously Low number!!!!
Going longer, front end, can Only make for more Trail, which is Not a bad thing at all...just slower/heavier Steering!!
The MoCo Numbers, even on the exact same frames, are different due to different length front forks, rear shock height etc... Not Reliable is what I am Saying... like Believing there was More than one Rake on a 4-Speeed Shovel Frame....Nope!
Are you changing it to have a longer front end? Because you could probably do some Progressive drop in's and get her back down to the same length of your stock front end. My Black Wide Glide, she is 2 under to go along with the short rear shocks and keep the frame level. Then again, it may be a similar front end, maybe you just need trees with the same rake as your original and use your lowers and tubes??
I wanted to change it up and give it a little more length. I'm going 2" over on the front and the trees that came on this front end are +3° so I imagine it will give it a little more trail but not a shitload because I'm changing the rake on it a little bit as well..
I think you would be Ok ... I added a 4 degree tree and 2" over tubes to my Sporty and still have just over 3 inches of trail ... it handles good ... maybe the above link will help you ...

I have used that exact calculator and I plugged in what I stated above my trail will fall below 3.7 and by what I'm hearing the Softails need to be over 4" and preferable 5" for stable handling. So it looks like I won't be able to use the front end my friend has because of the 3* rake in the trees. The other thing I noticed was that the offset in my OEM trees is only 1.45". And all aftermarket trees are 2.4-2.5" so I'm going to have to stick with 0* rake in the trees...
